To the burst in new followers who caught wind of me on tumblr
Flattered by your attention, but this blog will barely be updated after the end of July. It was used to document my travels in India while I was here. If I travel again during my winter/spring/summer breaks from university, I will continue to use this blog address, so you can keep me on your list if you so choose. If you want to peruse the journey that my last two months entailed, feel free.
Featured in the blog are descriptions, thoughts, and photos of what I was doing, which included but isn’t limited to:
- Living in a village in rural India on under a dollar a day for a month
- Lots of work with really cute kids in the village
- Lots of work with myself (physical, spiritual, emotional, mental) everywhere
- Lots of work with sometimes disheartening adults in the village
- Development of a program to uplift/set the path a little straighter for a good handful of these children
- Journeys to Manali, Himachal Pradesh
- Trekking, for the first time, in the Himalayas for four days
- Travels through Rajasthan
- The loneliness of traveling without friends or family
- Reflections on it all
Feel free to browse the archive, as the number of new posts will be limited (until future adventures, that is; but for now I’m going back to New York and enjoying the warmth of friends and family)
